NIMHANS Recruitment Eligibility Details
Education:
- As per Karnataka High Court recruiment official notification candidate should have completed Post Graduation from any of the recognized boards or Universities.
- Post Graduate in Psychology/Social Work
- Proficiency in at least two South Indian languages, with Tamil being
preferred. - Knowledge of basic computer applications.

NOTE : GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR NIMHANS RECRUITMENT
- Reporting Time
All candidates are required to report at the venue or log in to the online platform 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time for the written test and/or interview. This early reporting is mandatory to complete verification procedures, document checking, and other formalities. Latecomers may not be permitted to appear for the test or interview under any circumstances, whether the selection process is conducted in offline or online mode. - No TA/DA Admissible
No Travel Allowance or Dearness Allowance will be provided to candidates for attending the written examination, skill test, or interview. Candidates must make their own arrangements for travel and stay. This rule applies to all categories of applicants. - NOC for Current Project Staff
Candidates who are currently working in any project at NIMHANS, either Extramural or Intramural, must submit a No Objection Certificate from their Principal Investigator at the time of interview or document verification. Failure to produce the NOC will lead to disqualification from the selection process, even if the candidate is otherwise eligible. - Minimum Qualifying Marks
Wherever a written examination is part of the selection process, candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the written test to be eligible for the next stage, i.e., skill test and/or interview. Candidates scoring below 50% will not be considered for further rounds, irrespective of their qualifications or experience. - Institute’s Right to Selection
Merely possessing the prescribed essential educational qualifications and experience does not guarantee selection. The Institute reserves the absolute right to select the most suitable candidate based on overall performance in written test, skill test, interview, and other criteria. The decision of NIMHANS regarding selection will be final and binding. - Accommodation Facility
No hostel or residential accommodation will be provided to candidates selected for project positions. Selected project staff will have to make their own arrangements for stay in Bengaluru during the tenure of the project. - Additional Note
Candidates are advised to carefully read all instructions mentioned in the notification and bring all original documents along with self-attested photocopies on the day of interview/test. Any discrepancy or incomplete documentation may lead to rejection of candidature.
